Went to Portland to work on the Steamer Oregon in afternoon

Came home in the 630 boat   got home at 7   calm, overcast

Lucy Cook (?) was laid today - Capt W Dyer very sick

At work on the Steamer Oregon until 5 PM   9 hours

Clear night baffling winds

Was up to Strout Store

Capt Wim Dyer died today   aged 70

Point Village clear and cold in morning

wind North fresh breeze

went to the beach in the morning

down to Georges & at Maggies

Went to work on the Steamer Oregon 2 hours

Came home at 10 AM

Clear pleasant calm at 12 wind South light

At Portland in forenoon

At work on the Steamer Oregon 2 1/4 hours

got home at 1130

Clear pleasant all day   very light baffling winds

Was down to the beach in afternoon
