Sailed from Gloucester at 6 AM   wind west fresh

past Ilse Sholes at 12 M   Squally

reefed the Sails etc at 6

anchored in Richmons Island Roads

Thu, Nov 1, 1883

At work on Ram Island getting the Pound on board the Schr etc. wind NW light

got supper on the Island

the Schr grounded on the rocks

halled off at 8

Fri, Nov 2, 1883

Sailed at 7 AM bound home

arrived at Portland at 11

took the twine out to Nickersons

Came over to the ferry   got home at 2 PM

all well wind North light

went up to the Shop

Sat, Nov 3, 1883

At home in the morning   Calm and frosty

Went to Portland most of the day

Up to the Shop

bought Oil Tobacco etc.

did not see any fish

Sun, Nov 4, 1883

At home most of the day

went over to Maggie's in the evening

fine pleasant weather

Mon, Nov 5, 1883

Went to Portland in forenoon

Settled up with C A Dyer for the Search in the Pound burning

got home at 4 PM

a very fine day and calm

went to the beach   wind SSW fresh

went to the City   got home at 2 PM

up to the Strands in the evening

wind North fresh breeze overcast

went up to the Shop

Went to Portland in forenoon

Clear light winds and calm

got home at 2 PM

Simonton's Cove

overcast light winds North East

was to the beach in the forenoon

went in to Capt Whites (Grandfather of Ada Alma White Walp <- Bill Walp's Mother)

Went to Portland in forenoon

Calm most of the day   cloudy

At home   cloudy

light wind North Westly

Was down to the beach in forenoon
