At home most of the day     clear wind westly fresh

was up to D. Pillsbury's in afternoon

Sat, Feb 10, 1883

Went to Portland in afternoon

Settled up with B. J. Willard for working on Steamer Sarnia

Twenty Dols & Sixty cts 2060

got home at 330

gusty cool all day     Wind N. Eastly snow in night

Went to the shops bought meat Sasages

Went w/Roger up to Pillsbury playing cards in evening

Simontons Cove     clear pleasant all day wind SW in afternoon

on the hill looking for Steamer etc

bought liver etc

up to Pillsbury playing cards   got home at 9

5 Dgs below zero

Wed, Feb 14, 1883

Point Village   went clamming in the morning down to Little Island

was over to Rogers Store and up to D. Pillsbury playing cards

overcast calm

At home overcast    wind NE fresh and cold

the cow was sick

Paid Wm Spear $5.00 on A/C

Sent to Portland got newspaper at 3 snowing

Went to work on the Steamer Brooklyn

Calm and fogy most of the

At work until midnight

Stayed over all night

At work on the Brooklyn today

Clear most of the day and warm

got home at 7 PM   very tired and sleepy

25 hours work

At home overcast wind NE light in the morning

afternoon wind westly light clear

went over to maggie's in evening

Mon, Feb 19, 1883

Went to Portland     came right back no work today

wind west to NW fresh

the Queen left her ????? on Santo

up to D. Pillsbury playing cards

Tue, Feb 20, 1883

At work on the Steamer Brooklyn

Worked on the Brooklyn until 1030

got home at 1115 snowing most of the night
