ncaa - rules
- As each round passes, each game is worth twice as much as the last round. Therefore, each round is worth the same possible amount. For clarification, please see the following chart:
| Round | Value per Game |
| 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 4 |
| 3 | 8 |
| Final Four | 16 |
| Finals | 32 |
| Champion | 64 |
- Upsets count one half more than a regular game, and are based entirely on the seedings set up when the teams are originally designated. However, since it is possible to have two teams of the same seed play each other in the last two rounds, there is no upset bonus for these games. Please see the following chart for clarification.
| Round | Value per Upset |
| 1 | 3 |
| 2 | 6 |
| 3 | 12 |
| Final Four | 24 |
| Finals | N/A |
| Champion | N/A |
- The current score at all times is the sum of all points earned from all games completed up until that point.
